For those of you who knew John Bryant, it is a sad duty to report he passed away just before Christmas. A lifetime member of the Ariel Owners Club John was still riding just a few days before his passing. Our condolences go to Samatha his daughter and grandchildren. His cremation is taking place Monday next, 29th January at 2.30. It is at the crematorium in the Forest and then Speech House after. Funeral cars are leaving from Johns house in Lydney, if anyone wants to follow the hearse.

Re: John Bryant
John had been in the club since at least 1980. He was with the group that went to Finland in 2003, unfortunately he only made it as far as Berlin, where we failed to fix his bike.

Re: John Bryant
Mid - January and John's funeral was today. The Gloucester Branch managed 5 Ariels to escort him on his last journey, a1926, 1928, 1929, 1937 and a W/NG fitted with 500cc engine and tele forks. 3 other AOMCC members were present, although not on bikes. We left the ceremony to the sound of a song, recorded by his family last week which was all about John riding his Ariels. It began and ended with the sound of an Ariel engine.
