NH 350 engine - what year?

Post by dennis.t »

I am in the process of buying an NH350 engine and would like to know the year it was made. The engine number is CAMA 4577.
I want the engine to complete the top end of my 1955 one. The engine I am buying looks to have internal push rod tunnels, alloy head and an iron barrel. That is about all I can see in the photos I have been sent.
Many thanks,
Dennis

Sorry, that should be "my 1956 engine". I believe there were some changes that year that may or may not affect the compatibility of the two engines.

CAMA is 1958, the only difference to a 1956 engine is the addition of steel rings around the push rod tube rubbers to stop them collapsing into the tunnel.
