Hi Ariel friends. I'm in need of brake part 4082-47, the screwed wedge adjuster for the rear brake of rigid and Anstey Link models. This has the short screw and slotted head. I don't need the long screw unslotted head version! Draganfly are out of stock and have no prospect of getting them made. They do have a good photo though... I've tried club spares too! If you have a spare one, in good condition, that you are willing to part with, please DM me. Thank you. I am situated in the U.K. Midlands. +44 7815 075888

Re: Brake adjuster wedge wanted 4082-47
I found the same "low stock can be back ordered" issue a couple of years ago so I made one by cutting down an old damaged long one. It only took half an hour with a file and hacksaw.
File the flats first so it can be held in the vice by the bit of thread that you are going to discard.

Hi Peter
Yes I could do that, but I don't want to. Firstly, I don't have a long scrap one, and secondly, if I do it means that an adjuster I will use in the future is missing the adjuster screw.
Someone will have one... in fact several people who have seen my plea elsewhere do have one, they just don't want to part with it. One will turn up.
