S U float setting

Post by garymn »

I have a 58 square 4 that I'm trying to get running after many years of sitting. I pulled the carb (S U) to clean it only to find it was extremely mucked up and the float with a leak and the needle valve frozen solid. Both parts have been ordered but I can't seem to find the proper float setting. Anyone have the proper procedure for this? Any help on setting up that carburetor would be appreciated.
Thanks, Gary

The best guide for this carb is given in Waller, 5th Edition which is in the document library on the Club website.
