Evening all,
My parts list shows a washer, p/n 580-34 'washer valve spring top collar', whereas Draganfly show the same p/n but listed as 'Halite washer under bottom collar'.
Does anyone know where the Halite washer should be used on a 1944 350 O/H?
Thanks in advance
Steve W

Strange. In my 1937 parts book it's called "Hallite washer under cup". That's under the cup that hides the valve springs on the open cylinder head. No idea of it's purpose on later closed heads.

The Halite washer goes under the bottom collar, directly onto the head. Its function is to reduce the heat flow into the valve springs.
