Wanted- Rocker feed pipe - Ali head VH

Post by bruno.crossley »

Hi,
I’m after the rigid feed pipe that fits between the rocker spindles for my ‘54 Ali-head VH. It’s the bit with 2 banjos soldered to a Tee piece.
I’d also like to know how it connects to the return oil pipework.
Is there supposed to be a rubber Tee-piece that splices into the circuit?

Hi Bruno
There is a short rubber connection to a plain length of copper pipe that goes into a 't' piece inserted between the return line and oil tank
Rocker feed 140A-52
Short pipe 139-52
long plain pipe 140B-52
'T' piece 5892-52
All are listed and illustrated here

Also to be found in the parts book available free to members on our web site.

Hi Roger,
Thanks very much for the input. I’ve printed a copy of the whole issue 14 Drags catalogue. (At work. After hours) It’s been invaluable over the years.
Does the rubber tee-piece fit between the main oil return pipe and the unthreaded oil tank return stub?

Thanks again,
Mark
