Thanks Nev, yes this is a two lever carb.
I’m not sure what you mean by “NO” needle.
This one definitely runs a needle.
I also got around to taking pictures of the piston.

The earlier ones B & B are like 2 halves looking from the top and have NO needle You have to make fine adjustments to the relationship of the 2 levers when riding.. That one is more than 1/2 way to being an AMAC ( although the brand is not connected as far as I know') . With a needle you should get single lever operation or close to it. See the needle as a refinement/development. Binks had 2 or 3 jet carbs No needle The AMAC/AMAL is a single lever where that option is chosen in lieu of the twistgrip.. They have an airslide for "testing" and warmup up but most people just flood the carburetter for starting.. Nev
