Rogue traders

Post by MikeCrook »

The letter in this months Cheval raised the issue of rogue traders and cautioned against listing these on club sites.
I have experienced a few disreputable traders / suppliers over the past few years.
I believe the way around this could be to list on the members only site those that members would recomend and those they wouldn't.

Without giving any reasons it would be just opinions , and therefore, not defamatory or libellous.
I for one would welcome such a list .

Thoughts please.

I know where you're coming from but aren't opinions as defamatory and/or libellous as anything else?
And without a 'reason' isn't it just one person berating another?

Also...surely we already have a place where experiences can be carefully (and diplomatically) recorded - in 'Suppliers' ;)
