Vuurtorenrit 2023

Post by Vincent.vanGinneke »

Today it was the time of the year again: De Vuurtorenrit (The Lighthouse trip)

only a few pics at the lunchstop.
weather was a bit grey and slightly chilly but no rain or drizzle, so all were happy .

a few rare sightings, when do you see a Ariel W/VB ?

from left to right : Ariel Huntmaster, local weed transporter :D , and a pair of Horex's. Resident 350cc and a 400cc Imperator twin.
even on the Continent pretty rare bikes.

Harley Davidson, Model K or KH. a rare one. Once in use by the Dutch government but mechanically not a succes.
in 1977 I escaped owning one.
