On Friday last a couple of hardy soles and myself had a little spin around Hampshire, weather forecast didn't inspire much confidence but we ventured out anyway. I found myself a nice route on some nice back country roads that even I have never been on before but one of them I probably never will again. It was atrocious, the worst road for pot holes that I've suffered, probably ever!! As I started down this, well can't say it's a road, more like mountain pass!! I got site of a large buzzard type of bird of prey taking off from the road with some body part in its beak. Pointing excitedly up at the raptor my two fellow riders behind me looked up at the excitement only to fall into the abyss that was our road. :D I'm sure Roman roads two thousand years ago would have been much better, we passed two cars parked up awaiting rescue with torn tyres. We stopped at one car and offered some assistance, Alan took this opportunity to use his front wheel as a depth guage to ascertain the severity of the hole. His bike got stuck and took a few attempts to get it out.
Maybe it's all a trap prepared by the buzzard :D
After surviving that road we road a short while to our coffee stop but now the heavens had opened up but Roger bless him found us a place to park under cover.

Back from a trip to Ireland plus some nice sunshine.
Took a trip out to our local bikers cafe Loomies.

Certainly a good crowd out.

Coffee at Starbucks north of Oxford. Always drink in so asked for a proper mug but only takeaway cups as the dishwasher is brocken but as I'm drinking in I get a 5p discount. :D

Had a great time at the AGM, we all have a new Chairman, Mile Morgan. Young blood will do us all good.
I forget what cups Andrew and Lester won but Andrew's work over the last 15 years organising the LDR and Lester still being a great ambassador for the club was all very much appreciated by everyone.

Tilly Wallwork won the ladies cup, equally well deserved but unfortunately she couldn't be with us so some daft guy stood in :)

Bike managed a flawless 320 miles. Think the Huntmaster deserves a cup too :D

A grand day for it - hope the weather holds over the weekend for y'all!
(You'll be passing not a million miles from me - I've been waving in the direction of the motorway all afternoon! )
