I have just been informed that Derek, a mainstay of the Cardiff Branch since the 1950s, has passed away in the care home he was in residence at. He must have been one of, if not the sole, longest member of the club, being very active in the early days of the branch, when many runs between Cardiff and London took place, with a close link between the two branches. Although he was quite unwell over the last several months, he will still be greatly missed by all that knew him.

Re: Derek Wing
Very sad to hear. He was a really good arielist.
