Handlebar hardware

Post by stevewhitt »

Hi
I have a mixture of levers on my handlebars, fairly sure none of it is correct.

Next auction I will go searching, but am I looking for Amal or Doughty parts, are they combined or singles? (parts lists for 1944 show both).

Also, confused about throttle assembly regarding length of handle.

Any insight appreciated.

Cheers

Steve

Depends to a certain extent which contract your bike came from, towards the end of the war the ministry tried to standardise parts across manufacturer.

That's correct. Be careful not to get rid of stuff which may be correct for the later productions. Nev
