Can anyone help with a wiring diagram for a 33/34 Ariel single .
I am especially keen to see wiring colours and maybe even wire gauge if possible .

The wiring diagram is on page 198 of Waller 5th Edition which is in the document repository in the Members section of the AOMCC website.
I had the good fortune last Christmas time to buy my 1936 LG project which came with a huge stock of spares, including a NOS wiring loom, made by Pirelli cables but rubber covered with the coloured tags at each end of each cable. It is in amazingly perfect condition but does not have quite the correct colour scheme for a 1933/34 Ariel single. Nonetheless, I have stripped the end of one of the cables to find it consists of 38 wire strands, each 7 thou or 0.18mm diameter. That should give you something to work from.

Perfect Paul , just looked and I’ve found it . So is this that the wiring has coloured insulation or that it is black with coloured tags on the endspaul.jameson wrote: ↑Mon Oct 24, 2022 9:18 pm The wiring diagram is on page 198 of Waller 5th Edition which is in the document repository in the Members section of the AOMCC website.
