One of my WNGs had a really annoying top end rattle, proper loud. Had it ages, tried a few things and was living with it.
One of the local lads reckoned it might be the pushrods hanging up in the rockers. Yeah I thought .
Well, after my issue with sticky push rods on my other single, I had a look.
What can I say, he was right. The rocker, on one side especially, would grip the push rod endpretty tightly.
I gently lapped the push rod ends into the balls on the rockers. Nice fit. No sticking. Noise cured.
Might work for you ??

I tried that on mine, no difference. Mind you I had a bigger rattle today, turned out to be the gudgeon pin scraping its way up and down the bore. Due to go to Germany on Wednesday.
