Thanks for clarifying.Roger Gwynn wrote: ↑Tue Mar 08, 2022 11:43 pm Just looked in the 1928 catalogue again, which I did a couple of days ago, before decreeing that Sturmeys were not fitted to 1928 models, to see a Model A with a Sturmey box, I must be going mad or blind, probably both.

The club has several drawings for the components of this frame including the gearbox plate, but not one of the assemble unfortunately. Contact me if you need anything.

What a great lathe (another interest of mine - I have three ) - what is it (an early Myford ??) ?
It just shows that you don't need highly sophisticated modern stuff to produce good results.
Love that oiler .
Bob.

Another 28! I have not been on this forum in awhile. I also am doing a 1928 frame in what appears to be a similar situation. Did your frame come cut up? Mine did! Also what have you found in the way of drawings? I am currently on the hunt for the 1928 rear engine bracket to complete the puzzle of parts I need for alignment. Helpful forum member helped me with drawings of bracket. And another with pictures. But I would like to find one intact.
