Wanted: Large scan from 1928 catalogue

Post by Vincent.vanGinneke »

Who has a original copy of the 1928 catalogue?

I would like to have a large (in Mb) scan from one (1) image in the 1928 catalogue.

For making a 1:1 print.

This one:
Ariel sales Catalogue 1928 (12) - kopie.jpg
it's a section from this page that I found in the knowledgebase but those scans are to small for enlarging :
Ariel sales Catalogue 1928 (12).jpg
Thanks !

This is from an old book. Can scan it in at a higher res if you want. More detail than the catalogue I think.

Interesting - so if a rear carrier was fitted then they didn't fit a lifting handle? Is that right? Just pondering that for my 28 Model D at the moment.

Hi Tony, if the catalog pictures/drawings are a yardstick, only the model E had a lifting handle at the rear.
But.....I think if you wanted a carrier plus a lifting handle that was no problem.
