Police Motorcycle paraphernalia

Post by PaulWoolley »

Good morning
I have just bought a Gloucestershire Constabulary Police motorcycle for restoration and just wondered if anyone knows of any police paraphernalia that can be bought for my restoration.
Cheers
Paul

I'd set up an ebay search - there is actually a category for 'Collectable Police Equipment'.

I did see a set of 50's police motorcycle gear recently, when I was searching for railway stuff. I have a search set up to find firing shovels, for sticking coal in steam engines.

Do I get more anorak points for that? I'll get my coat.
cheers

You need a 'Stoker Engine' ;) (there's a long-running thread on You-Tube about one being restored by a couple of well-known American Machinists - Keith Rucker and Adam Booth).
