Chain guard
Anyone know of any difference between lower rear chain guards assigned to W/NG and civilian models?

Re: Chain guard
The low tube is one inch shorter so the chainguard will be too.

Re: Chain guard
Does it have a different part number? I didn't cut my lower chainguard short to fit the W/NG, and I made it from one for an Anstey frame.wade.edwards wrote:Anyone know of any difference between lower rear chain guards assigned to W/NG and civilian models?

Re: Chain guard
I've never run one on the W/NG I have, It would prevent me applying a lot of chain oil and wiping off the surplus so it doesn't get on the rear tyre. Nev

Re: Chain guard
I have lower chainguards on my Ariels.
Spray and muck that gets thrown from tire onto chain have the force of a small blasting jet.
Without a lower guard chain and sprocket life gets shortened .
