Hello Bill,
Although I dont know where your old Leader 781ADG is these days, a Vehicle Enquiry carried out on the Directgov Website at least shows that it is on the DVLA records, the Leader is licensed with date of liability being 1.4.2013. This would suggest it is being used and is not declared S.O.R.N.

I'm pretty certain that 781ADG was a Leader fitted with radio equipment etc for use with Gloucestershire Police and was one of a batch of 18 Leaders in Police trim sent to Cheltenham on 9.5.62 for issue to various stations in the county for general patrol work.

As it happens, I have one of these ex Cheltenham Police leaders from the same batch in the shed, its reg number is 782ADG, its a full on restoration job when I get around to it.
