You can buy a new 1 inch twistgriptrottle on the market, I am using them also on my pre 1930 to be safer in modern trafic.

Hi Richard, cheap on ebay. You just have to wait a while..

or;

Hi Adrie, Western Australia has a lot of dirt per motorcycle shop.. I think Nev got bum blisters riding across it last year! I'm not sure where Richard is, but I think he is in the North West. If so, he may be closer to the moon than to a large city.
regards, Brenton

Yes he did! I'd forgotten that we're really a Dutch colony... You blokes got around a bit.
The English snuck in the other way. I think they wanted to unload - oops, repatriate, some of their finer citizens.
There are quite a few more recent - post war migrant - Dutch families in my city (Adelaide). South Australia was largely colonised by Germans, so we're a multicultural lot.
Very clever Adrie.

Hey Brenton,
Until last year, I lived inland, in Kalgoorlie (the "Golden Mile"; gold capital of Australia) - now I languish in Perth on the western coast.

Try the attached link. They seem to make authentic looking straight pull reproductions. I would go for the standard length for your '27.
