Thanks Dave...very helpful...not! But maybe I am fault for the unclear wording of my post, what I really want to know is: What would be a fair price to ask for a good condition post war rigid single frame that someone wants to buy from me?!!!!!

If its going to be strapped to two pontoons - I'm with Dave. Seriously, earlier on this year, Kempton Park, a guy was asking £150 as a starter, for one with modified lower rails. So a good one? My guess is £300? What price do you think for a late Ansty frame complete for a single, anybody?

I have found the anstey doesn't sell for more. People might buy it for the suspension parts if they want tp repair theirs.. Having the correct year for the buyer will attract more. Condition MUST count. Nev

I see people asking silly? prices for rigid frames .......always to build customs........There is zero chance of building a complete original bike from bits here.,but for building a custom with a rigid frame + 90% aftermarket bits and get it registered...pretty easy......( obviously,$2000 isnt silly if you can get it)
