It looks like the feed tube still comes from the original upper tank, rather than the lower converted toolbox. So, how would oil in the lower tank ever circulate to the engine?

That is a honest advert for an original bike.
It's somhow appealing to me but a mark 1 ? :(

I saw this bike at the Charterhouse action held at the Bristol Classic bike show in February. It sold for £6500 plus premium. The oil feed came from the converted toolbox just below half way down as you can see in the picture.

Yes, I see - the photo is a bit dark there. Should work reasonably well, then.

yes
I saw this at charterhouses auction
Surprised at the price it fetched seeming that the rocker gear was missing and the other 'mods' to the oil tank.
Lets see how long it takes to sell....
