I have managed to get the forks to unscrew by using a large lathe chuck with a bit of sheet copper or alumunium to protect the metal from the jaws. have the whole thing in the lathe and put a metal bar through where the axle goes. (have it a reasonable fit).to get a bit of purchase.(leverage) Nev

Hi Guys. I managed to get the fork seal caps off..A lot of heat was needed. The only parts I can use are the lower tubes. I got the magneto working last week, performed a bit of micro surgery on the HT wire coming out of the rotor.. Nice fat blue spark cranking by hand.

Still awaiting for my approval to join the AOMCC. Sent the paper work and payment.
