I know that alternator output can be increased by connecting 2 of three wires together, and connecting these across a regulator/ rectifier unit for 12 volts DC.
My question is , which of the two wires out of three to connect? I have green / yellow, green/white and green/black.
Thanks
Alan

Hi Alan,
Read the attached pdf, second bit entitled '6 to 12v conversion'. This will be the way to wire your modern 12v single phase rectifier/regulator. The wiring will be the same for any single phase rectifier/regulator modules with two yellow input wires.
All the best,
Keith.
