Brake shoes and other friction stuff

Post by IanSlade »

Gary Parkin, a Brit who used to help organise the Banbury run and is now living in Brittany refurbed the brakes and clutch on my 1927 model B and did a great job. He has a good stock of original Ariel linings including oddball ones like a "Pixie" whatever that is. He has a stock of reconditioned and lined shoes for exchange or can reline yours. He also reconditions clutches and can put modern linings on old plates.

He also does most of the big moto jumbles like Kempton and Founders as well as a lot of the European events. A very knowledgeable bloke when it comes to anything friction!

Yep, try Gary, he does all sizes of friction discs. Just send him dimensions. He did all the friction discs for my 1927 B and a 1927 Triumph.
Here are all his details.
