Anyone know what this is chaps?
It appears on the offside of the headstock of my '51 Square Four. In the equivalent position on the nearside, there is a small hole.

Re: Call to the wise
it's the screw that is holding the clip to guide the cabels.

Re: Call to the wise
Simon
see the photo where the cable/wiring clip is held by a single screw. this photo shows an original chrome handlebar clip for the wires. Pity about the colour of the wiring. I have been going to shrink wrap it but somehow have never got round to it. The wiring harness was originally held to the frame with what I could best describe as aluminium cable ties that pull up tight and fold back on them self. please forgive the condition of the bike as I have been on a ride today and did many miles on dirt roads (with a rigid frame)
