There have been a couple of requests recently regarding adding images to posts. This is how you can add a photo you have saved in a folder on your own computer:
If you are replying to a post Click on the 'Full Editor and Preview' button under the Quick Reply box (If you are starting a 'New Topic' you will automatically open the Full Editor message window)
Click on the blue colored tab labeled Attachments which is located under the 'Post a reply' window
Click the box on the Attachments tab which says ' Add Files'......This will open an 'Explorer' window on your computer,
Next navigate / go to the folder on your computer where your photo is, then click on/ select the photo you want in your message and then click the 'Open' button
The photo will then be uploaded to the forum
With your mouse click in the message box / post a reply box at the point you want your photo to go (you will get a flashing short vertical line) and then in the Attachment tab click on Place Inline
You can add up to five photos, just repeat the steps for each photo
Click the Preview button to see what your post looks like...when you are happy click the Submit button
Hope that makes sense
Cheers
Alan

Re: Inserting a photo in your post
Sorry for my late reply to this topic, much illness and wife's broken leg (still in pot)are not a great excuse but time flies when your enjoying yourself and priorities must change.
I have managed to add some photos of an unusual box spanner which fits all the wheel nuts and the pinch bolt on the forks of my rigid framed square 4, it is about 8" long and fits in a tool roll kit, the tommy bar slides away neatly inside the stem, it was found at an auto jumble for £1, it is aftermarket not Ariel I think, but a great tool just the same, these are worth looking out for.
