They weren't plated originally, being wartime. They would also be a suitable replacement to use the fittings for 7/8. I don't think there would be a big call for them, but they are a beautiful piece of work. Pity someone can't find a box or originals hidden somewhere. They will fit all W/NG's but aren't correct for all. The early rubber mounted bars need a pin to stop them rotating in the rubber. Nev
