Here's my pattern, plumbers solder at the moment:

The spiral will need a larger radius for 1/4" copper.

All the ones I've seen are two turns and have the lower part a bit further away from the generator, otherwise looks good. That's only my opinion. If someone else has pics, I'm as interested as anyone. Nev

This link will bring to The Ariel Drome. As you can see a very original 350 NG from aprox 1947 including a interesting fuel line which I think is also genuine... Although I think the fuel line on my W/NG is original, It looks if there are also fuel lines with only one turn...

Well done Paul! That's a great picture. Actually negotiating the dynamo and the ignition cable is a bit tricky, but curving the pipe over the dynamo is worth trying.

Can you change the position that the cable exits the magneto, or is it fixed? You'd have to re-time the ignition I guess...

No not realy. The rubber socket on the magneto contains a steel sleeve (screwed into the magneto) with a spring inside which enables you to adjust the magneto cable. You only can re-route the magneto cable itself which does not disturb the timing...

Having put some fuel in my tank (having sealed it - another story) I've been plodding around the yard outside my workshop.

I've discovered that the carburetter leaks with the bike on the field stand. Is that normal?

Check your needle is not worn and the seat in the bowl also and the recess in the screwed on cap is clear to allow it to go well up. I use the sidestand all the time (have to leave it in 1st to stop it rolling, unless it's against a kerb or such). It will flood if leaning towards the RHS, to any degree. Nev
