Lucas Headlamp Parts Wanted

Post by john.deeth »

Hi Arielists,

This is a long shot, but I was wondering if anyone had some surplus parts to suit a Lucas SS49 headlamp. I am primarily looking for the bayonet fitting brass headlamp rim and switch but also need an amp meter. Alternatively I would be happy with a complete lamp if available. As I said, it's a long shot................

Many thanks for looking!

Regards,

John.

It would be worth contacting Jiri Horace as he supplies these sorts of things and can sometimes supply individual parts which may not be on the website. The SS49 is so rare that you can wait many ebay blue moons for one to appear and when it does the bidding is like a piranha frenzy around a half eaten chicken leg.

Thanks Dave. I'll contact Jiri and live in hope otherwise!

Good afternoon John
You have SS49 on ebay. It looks nice. I'm afraid that price would not be nice.

Thanks Aljosa.
Yes the price wasn't so nice in the end. Too rich for my blood I'm afraid!

Cheers,

John.
