I have the tank which came with my 1937 NH. I didn't know at the time that the top had been badly repaired. Since then I have got a new tank so this one is a freebie. The top has a section which is missing and has been patched and if you have good metal working skills then you should be able to shape and weld a new piece in there. The rest of the tank looks pretty solid. This is the type of tank which takes the rounded knee pads (two studs) and the PA speedo with the cable exit near the rear of the tank.
Anyway, if you would like it I'm happy to swap it for any rigid Ariel part you like.
I expect to be at Shepton this Saturday (5th March 2011) and later in the year I hope to be at the AGM so can bring it along to either.
