Have had the petrol tank restored
Now the paint is coming off around the filler neck
Has anyone else had this problem with new paint work !
Just removed the tank only to find there is a leak from the bottom
about half way between the mounting bolts right hand side
taking the tank back to them on Sunday to be repaired
Watch this space !
( you only find out how good a company is
when things go wrong .)

Paint coming off round the filler neck is best avoided by using a machine with a tank panel. My panel tank machines are no problem but with the others it seems to be just a question of time, if you use cellulose paint, as I do. But the non- panel tanks are dead easy to re-spray......
