Good evening my friends. Can somebody say me girder fork spring dimensions for LF 1929 and 1930. I have two LF. One '29 and one '30. The springs are missed and I have to make new. Looking in catalog the D9 143 are signed for year '29 and '30. Looking picture in Sales brochure in 1929 the fork links are staying horizontaly, but in 1930 the fork links are inclined showing me that spring is shorter than year before. Can somebody give me exact lenght and outside diameter for each year.
Many thanks.

The springs are identical for 1929-32. Don't let the pictures fool you.
In 1931 the number is changed to 4606-29, but the old part numbers are still in the partlist as an ordernumber and can be used for reference. The 1932 partslist tells that a new spring (4606-32) turns up for the 350 models. Therefore the wire dimensions are now mentioned: 0,270" for a 250 and 0,30" for a 350.
I then went to my workshop and measured the spring on my 31 bike. The outside diameter in the middle is 49,5 mm. The diameter in the ends must fit to your spring anchorages. The mounted lenght, which must be the same as the unmounted lenght, as my bike have the wheel hanging free, is 101 mm. And last, there is 9,5 windings.
And by the way: Draganfly have a 4606-29 in their online catalogue.
