What does the icon on the left Hand side of the display mean
When you hover the cursor on it ,it says "No unread posts" or" unread posts" ,but there seems to be no difference in the display of the icon.

It is red on mine when there are 'unread posts' and blue when 'no unread posts' , just a quick way to see what is new .

But why do some have the icon look like a script is scrolling up on it
