VH Red Hunter LYY 447

Attached is a picture of my father shortly after purchasing his Hunter. Protective clothing consisting of gloves and bicycle clips! Halcyon days indeed, let alone 'L' plates on a 500.
At the age of 94, Dad is still with us, and I wondered if anyone could shed any light on the bike. a DVLA plate check shows nothing. We lived in the Barnehurst area at the time the bike was sold - to purchase a '38 Morris 12/4, but that's another story.

You could well be right Adrie. Here are two more if it helps. Mum's still around at 90 and the other is a very much younger me.

Still a very new 1952 model, and the Triumph? is not far from that.
It looks like they are of for a long holyday trip.
My wife just bought the same shoes.
