TYP 246 where are you ?

I’m wondering if you could possibly be of assistance to an ex Ariel owner?

In the early seventies, I bought a VH 500 (1957 I think) in boxes, and rebuilt it from the tyre treads upwards, and enjoyed using her as my only form of transport at that time, including holidays in Holland and Belgium along with a friend on his Model 50 Norton. Through financial needs, I unfortunately had to part company with her around the mid seventies, and I no longer have any record as to whom I sold her to. I was living in Sproughton near Ipswich at the time.

I’ve checked with DVLA and gleaned some information that may suggest that she still exists, but is un-taxed and the date of liability is 01/07/1983. I’m aware that if you know the owner, you would not divulge certain information (which is only right and proper). Do you know of this machine, as if it was at all possible I would very much like to see her again, or even possibly get her back.
