Re: Daily Riding Diary on an Ariel
If I park up in London I stick a cover on,
Wet miserable ride back till nearly home then the sun came out. I've a throttle cable that needs oiling, seems to have got very stiff and I think the bike needs a clean!
Then down to Cobham in Surrey and to Chelsea Football clubs training ground. No expense spared here. They have a large boiler room that keeps the frost away from their 30 football pitches!Wet miserable ride back till nearly home then the sun came out. Re: Daily Riding Diary on an Ariel
Got to Kempton bike jumble this morning through the fog. Alan and myself took our W/NG's for the run.
He's putting together a late Huntmaster and he has just about everything he needs except a nacelle. He's been trying for a while and has rang round the usual suspects but zilch. I told him he'll have no chance at Kempton. We split up and started going around the stalls. 5 minutes later he rang. The jammy bugger had found one.

Just what I need, may buy a repro from Drags. Anyone got feedback on them.

Re: Daily Riding Diary on an Ariel
I've a repro one on my bike with the fairing, I cut a bit off it to give me clearance to turn the handlebars. They seem plenty strong enough. Especially if you have a metal top for the speedo. Actually Dave, now that Alans sorted with a metal one we've a fibreglass one going begging. It needs a small repair but your welcome to give it a crack. I mean give it a go, it already as a crack!

My metal one is slightly out of true so if you want to donate the glass one to a fellow Hampshire member please feel free to do so.
