Hi all
I have been renovating a 1961 Ariel Arrow and now at the starting the engine stage, I have looked at all the books in my possession and haven't been able to fined which position the ignition switch should be for normal running. So can any one tell me is normal running clockwise or anti-clockwise.
Thanks
Alan

Re: Ariel Arrow ignition switch
Hello Alan, The switch (or Key on later machines) in the central position is for ignition 'Off.
For normal running turn the switch/Key . 'Clockwise'.
For Emergency start turn the switch/Key , 'Anti Clockwise'.
Attachment is a scan from Page 13 of the Leader and Arrow Owners Guide covering, Starting The Engine.
