leader rectifier
on my bike I have a solid state rectifier, with 4 terminals. I am not sure on what of the terminals the wires go to asthere is no instruction on the rectifier to where they go; only a plus sign on one corner which assume goes to the positive earth of the battery ??? any advice please!!

Re: leader rectifier
Hello
I can't be much help but I have just fitted one to my bike all I can tell you they are all different colour wires with different makes my one is from Paul Goff which is called "A reg one" with a plus and minus wires which connect to the battery via ignition switch the other two are yellow they connect to the alternator any way round, so you have found your positive if two out of the three remaining wires are the same colour then the odd one is negative hope that helps
Regards Derek

Re: leader rectifier
Hello,
It's usual for the negative terminal to be diagonally opposite the positive one , on the square rectifiers. The one Roger has on his Arrow tends to bear this out. It is possible to used a continuity tester on a multimeter to compare the terminals on the unknown rectifier with a know one, if you have both multimeter and spare rectifier.
