KH Starting problems

Post by Alan.Haynes »

My 1955 KH has suddenly become a non-starter. I've checked the ignition timing and it is set correctly. There is a very good spark from the recently reconditioned magneto and the plugs are new. The pilot jet is clear and the float and tickler seem to working properly. It just will not start. Both plugs seem to be bone dry. Tappets are correctly set. Any suggestions gratefully received. Thanks Alan

I use damp start as a test. If it fires and runs for a second its fuel, if not ignition.
