1930 Model LB
1930 Model LB
Hello All
I'm new to this forum but was wondering if there was anybody who had experience of the 1930 LB 250? I have one which I'm restoring. It's complete but posing lots of questions.
Be very interested to hear from anyone.

Hi I don't have an LB but not for the want of trying I nearly bought one a couple of weeks ago but in the end was too slow, and was offered one from Holland but it was too expensive.
Anyway I have been doing as much research as I can so now now a bit about them, as far as I can see yours looks very nice and correct the only thing is and I may be wrong but I think it should have a center stand not a rear stand?

Re: 1930 Model LB
I would do nothing cosmetically to that bike, it is in no need of restoration.

Yes I am with you on that, I'm not restoring the bike but of course I want it roadworthy and that needs some light upgrading. Things like the saddle has lost all its springs but it has the leather in really good original state. I would love to see a good roadworthy LB to compare but I'm having a great deal of difficulty finding any reference. I have the sales brochure from that year with the bike which gives the timing side view but little real detail.
Thanks for comments.
