A 'upright' picture that is to big (over 1 Mb or so) it happens that they get sideways.
solution would be to make them smaller first in 'Paint' (well, thats how I do it)
But with a upsidedown picture..... :?

A trial....
Downloaded, rotated 180 in viewer and re-saved.
I'll see if I can actually replace the pic in the original post when I've got more time - it involves some careful digging around under the bonnet.

Edit - replaced the upside-down pic in landscape format (the second pic) and its 'thumbnail' 8-) .
Removed the rotated copy from this post (but it's left both the actual files in the file system, grrrrrrrr.... )
The sideways ones are a different problem. More research needed to see if there's a fix apart from re-sizing.

Thank you, though I'm sure I don't look any better that way up zoomed in!

A couple of pics from last week-end (VMCC Somerset Section run).

From the Mendips, looking south-west (Quantocks just sneaking into view in the far distant haze at right hand side) :

And from the other side, looking north-east over Chew Valley:

I still think of that area as home, despite living in Scotland for 50 years !

I was riding a 'VB', a Square Four and an AJS model 16 back then.

Thanks for the memory.

Bob.

On the Morven peninsular, Argyll during a 4,000 mile Round Britain rally. When it's nice it is absolutely gorgeous, most of the time it isn't!

Later in the year Jens took us to see a transporter bridge over a tributary of the Elbe. Closed to vehicles except historic ones, I like that.

Not really a vacation, more of a day out… does this qualify?
