A while ago I was gifted a few copies of Cheval from the early 1970s. I find even some of the 'mundane' articles a fascinating view into how things were 50-years ago - and I was there, to coin a phrase!
Arrows and Leaders were only a few years out of production, the later four-strokes were 'only' 10-15 years old, there were still plenty of people around who worked engineering, and the Club Technical Officer could interrogate Duckhams on how suitable their Q20-50 was for Ariels!
All good stuff....
