BOT festival - Behoud Oude Technieken - 2022

Post by Vincent.vanGinneke »

Again, just like last year, the smaller version of what once was the 'Steam Festival' in Almere , Netherlands.
Now organized by the B.O.T. 'Behoud Oude Technieken' (saving old techniques)
Only a few bikes, but ofcourse a Ariel :D

I love those big single-cylinder tractors. Some of those Lanz machines were seven litres and would run on a mix of old engine oil and kerosene !

In Britain we had the Field Marshall - similar configuration but a bit smaller.

We forget how powerful these steam & early diesel tractors were - have a look at this Case 150 with a 44 furrow plough !

Wonderfull machine that Case.
maybe a trifle to much on the fall out :D

Field Marshall, this one below was part of the Marshallplan and as such came on the farm of my mum in Steenbergen, late forties.
