Hi - progress on the rebuild, now tentatively refitting the gearbox. I’d appreciate any help regarding the gearbox pivot bolt that runs under it from frame rail to frame rail. I have the two spacers that go on either side of the engine plates, but surely there is a distance piece between the plates too? I’ve either dismantled it (and lost it ) or it was missing/wasn’t one. A photo of that underside set up would be most helpful if possible.
Cheers

Hi Martin
Unless I've misunderstood, that space is filled by the gearbox bottom lug

Hi Mick - definitely a spot-on piccie. It’s actually the footrest bolt I meant! (My bad!) so your picture captures it perfectly. The distance piece is clearly visible between the plates. I think I’ve found it in my box of bits, so now for a bit of fettling

Well your loss is my gain! Mick's photo shows me how the centre stand springs fit. With no gearbox in place I could not work out where the springs located. That picture is worth a thousand works to quote someone.
