ARIEL jumper
My Wife has offered to knit me an ARIEL jumper! Does anyone know where I can find a pattern...

Ha.
That brings back frightful memories of christmasses gone by. My mother and her mother would be knitting for presents to give us children - a baggy jumper, a matching bobble hat and a pair of gloves.
Gonna have to have a lie down.

Re: ARIEL jumper
I think we still have a couple that a lady in the club used to knit, may have been Hilary but they were bought for my children when they were little, so a bit small for a Kevin.

Re: ARIEL jumper
If anyone has a photo of an Ariel Jumper. I'd like to see it. It may give my wife an idea where to start.

Re: ARIEL jumper
Dawn has one from back in the day which was kindly gifted to her by John Bradshaw at the AGM last October. I’ll ask her to get it out of the wardrobe and let me have a few photos

Re: ARIEL jumper
I have here a couple of pictures of the 1960s fashion Ariel jumper - taken at the 1971 Ariel Klub Rally in Winkle, Holland:
The standard design - Black with vertical red and green stripes.
Mistakes were made, Vic Gough's girlfriend mis-interpreted the design description . . . You really don't want one of those
(Some well-known faces from the time here - Dick Warne, Steve Boom, Graham Berry, Brian Brothers, Jaap Rens, Vic Gough, George Penny . . Happy days, when we were young.
I see my Square Four sneaking in there - with its Tri-point screen and Craven 'Dolomite' panniers !
