Hi all
Happy New Year all
Well first year retired, I wonder what will this be like.

Speedo reads 12,812 miles so 7,514miles covers in 2021
Not too bad considering lockdown.

Same as before but more hectic and knowing you, even more miles on your Ariel!

Cheers lads

Frst job is to get my bike back together.
I had felt something not quite right in the steering dept. Turns out my steering head is a bit loose.

Fitted the rocker box, if you shine a light in through the rocker caps you can easily see if you've got the rockers seated on the push rods.

Thought I'd better take a look under the timing cover, all was good. Chain was a tiny touch loose, after tightening it up I packed some new grease.
My leather gasket is still working great. No need to replace it.

Then on to an oil change, it's been 3 thousand miles or so since I last changed, a bit too long.
Magnetic sump plug has done its job

Roger, if I do that 10 miles, should wear out that fine groove in the middle of the tyre, Good for another 1,000 after that :D
