Ah. Should have read 12V (A 1V iron would be useless).

I have solder, flux and a small gas blow lamp. You never know :D the solder made a good temporary fuse till I could find the fault. Except for blocking the fuse holder :oops:

Managed to get myself caught up in a clousure and road works only a mile away from the Camp site on Friday . Nice spot though near a Windmill and even managed to get chatting to a real nice guy manning the blockade. The tarmac had only been just laid.
