Bit more practice on this retirement thing.

Very pleasant winter sunshine.
Was heading of to Ireland this evening but didnt fancy the ice forecast so held off for a few days.

Opps, I've just realised what I've been doing, some of my 2022 diary posts are in the 2021 diary, must have been the drink and retirement
Nevermind, anyway I haven't disappeared again, I'm sunning myself in Ireland .

Had a nice ride yesterday up to Farnham to deliver a recovered saddle for a S7.
You kind of wonder what that sign could help with, they swarm across the road at certain times of the year, so could it be warning of a slippery surface! Or maybe we are supposed to avoid them, it would be certainly difficult to do with thousands of them jumping across the road.

I envy you that you can ride a motorcycle all year round. During the winter, I drop the snow and repair the bike for the new season. He starts riding here at the earliest in April and only occasionally.

We are certaily lucky,
Worst weather we had here was 4 years ago, we called it the " Beast from the East"
I came home from Dent in the middle of it.
