I will post into the members area of this forum on this.

It looks like the arielownersmcc.com didn't like 3 letter passwords, it needs at least 5 characters, so the current one will not work.
I have fallen back to the previous one and have provided the editor with an updated version (with more letters in it).

I'm getting 'Server took too long to respond" when switching to the site (time-out).

I then go onto another bike site (which is fine) and when finished there switch back - this site is then available again.

Its happened on my tower computer and I-phone-7.

It happened pre-change-over occasionally as well, so sounds like the site server connection rather than the application.

Am I alone in seeing this ?

Bob.

We'll keep an eye on the site response times - it's been slow for me a couple of times too, although I don't get the 503 errors I was getting from the old site.
There are still a few things going on behind the scenes that may be having an impact (although they shouldn't be) and so far there doesn't seem to be a pattern for the slower response times that would help with a diagnosis.

Since the website rehash, I've manged to log in to the forum, but all attempts to log in to the "Members Area" fail. I put in my user name and what I'm sure is my password.
But nothing happens. The box requesting these items just reappears and there is no useful "forgotten your password?" option.
I have emailed John Nash a couple of times but have had no reply.
As I said to him, "I feel excluded from the resources of the club's website"

Pete,
There may be two issues here. One is as a result of the migration as this
has been documented here:

viewtopic.php?f=25&t=12005

The other is to do with your access to the above thread. Your name is presented
in blue which suggests you haven't yet got yourself registered on the forum as a
club member. Once that happens your name will turn red and you should be able
to view the thread.

Success!
Many thanks.

(It still seems odd, not to have had reply to emails, sent several weeks ago)
